Just got back from Tunica Miss.We stayed three days and had a great time.Played at two casino. The Grand and Fitzgeralds. The seasons we picked these two was we had a free room at the grand and blackjack insider rate fitz good for DD games.
The Grand was not that great a place to play.It was our home because we went on a junket and the lodging was free.Played there the first night. Was vary crowded. They had the world poker tour turnaments there this weekend and the place was packed. We only played 2 deck games and found harrible penn.We were getting at best 50% to 55%.I had one dealer giving about 40%.I asked him to go deeper so we could play longer and he said as long as the casino was paying his check he was going to do what they said, and they said to keep it short.I did find one dealer that went to 60% and i thanked her for it.She said she was new and untill they told her to change she was keeping it at that. She said she like her customers to win.She got more tips.
I saw only three 2deck tables. Two were $25 and one was $50.High limit had two and they were $100.At night they opened up three more dd games.again nothing lower than $25.All single deck games were 6.5.Comp were easy to get,as long as you asked.Food wasnt that great. total winnings here only $275 over three sessions each. Thanks god the rooms was free.Had two free nights.
We then moved to the Fitz. This was a great place to play. The penn was great.I saw one $10 DD game that had six people at the table that was cutting i sware looked to be 75 to 80%.My partner jumped in and made $950 in an hour and a half.It was great. They had about four $10 DD tables and Three $25 DD games. The penn was about 65 to 70% on all games i saw.Made for great play.I got a little heat on the $25 tables and nothing on the $10.Food comp were vary easy to get.Pit was vary nice.I talk to one of the dealers here about why they cut so deep and he told me it was up to the dealers.and the dealers wanted players to win.the more they win the more they tip.The dealers at fitz dont split there tips.they keep what they make.So the more winners the more they make.Wise i could have played more, but we didnt want to get noticed.we took them for a combined total of $2023 over one day with about 3 sessions each, and got two free dinners out of it.
didnt play any single decks so not sure of what they are like.
