Typical 2D Pitch Rules

Hello,

I'm new to BJ and over the last few weeks I've become quite comforable with the various typical 4-8D shoe game BS. However, I'm interested in studying the BS for 2D pitch games... what are some of the most common variations?

Thanks in Advance,
Kyle

The most common 2D would be H17 DAS DOA. I would call that the benchmark game at -.38 house edge. If you can find a S17 game even better making it like a good 1D game. If you can find RSA that's another helpful rule. Watch out for the H17 NDAS DOA game that's lousy. Also avoid 2D games with terrible rules like D10 only. Of course the most important thing for a good or bad game is the pen. If the pen is good then that makes up for a game with poor rules. Good pen starts at about 60%+ and real good pen is 70%+. Try to avoid games below 60% and run from the 50% and below games. If you are not familiar with the above abbreviations just ask?

Most common two deck game in Tahoe!

The most common two deck pitch game I find is double on any first two
no DAS, split aces once, every other pair 3 times, hit soft 17, 3:2 on blackjack. House edge of the start .60%. These rules are by far the most common rules in the Lake Tahoe area. I have only seen one place allow a double after a split (DAS) on this game and that casino discontinued its blackjack game for a house edge of the top of .46%.
