Using matchplay coupons on three card poker

I was brainstorming games to use my matchplays on to see what curious effects they have, and I thought about three card poker. I am really tired and I don't have my computer with me in the hotel. I recalled once reading that 3CP has two different EVs for the ante and the raise. According to WoO you lose 8% on the ante, but earn 5% on the raise for a net loss of a few percent.

If suddenly, you use a match play on the ante, but bet double on the raise, the EV of your cash in play would be positive.

I'm too tired to think straight but I think this is a curious fluke that could be exploted somehow. Obviously the coupon would be at -8%. But its a coupon but your cash would enter play at +2% ev which is more than the average hand of bj with CC

bet 10$ and 10$mp on ante.play blind 10$ cash..

=5$ ev from hand..
I am more interested in betting 10+MP on ante and then 20 on the raise because it would put all cash on the table +EV in addition to the money you make from the match play.

I'm wondering about Funny Chip coupons myself. I'm looking at the crazy $73.15 result in the document (for chips that aren't relinquished on ties) and wondering how it comes about.

Let's define a "coupon round" to be all the games between first sitting at the table and losing the coupon (either to a win or a loss). The strategy in the document says to place an amount of money equal to the coupon's face value on the ante. If you have K97 or better, raise with live money; otherwise raise with the coupon. [EDIT: actually, the text and the table don't match. the text says to use the coupon on K87 or weaker and live on K92 or stronger and says nothing about hands in between; the table says what i have in this paragraph. i've uploaded a different version of the script that more easily allows changing the threshold for using live money in the next post]

\The result you want is obviously that the dealer's hand doesn't qualify; then you win and you get to keep playing with your coupon.

Writing up a quick and dirty simulation of this, I get that the average result is about +36% of the face value of the coupon. That is, if the coupon is for $100, and you use this strategy, on average you will have $36 more than you started with when the coupon is gone. Where's this $73.15 figure coming from?

I've attached the Python source for my sim.

Pardon the double-post; can't change attachments with edits (see edit in previous post)

Edit : just realized the sim is wrong. I'll be updating it when I get a chance

Fixed it. I can repost it if anyone's interested. The one attached to this post is still wrong.
