Very little chance

New data released by the Gaming Technology Association of Australia show that the longer anyone plays slots in a single session, the less likely you are to win.
Around 31% of players investing 2000 or more units can expect to win back more than they bet.
But only 24% investing 5000 units will come out ahead. The % figure gets even worse after that!:cat:

How is this breakthrough science?
My point is, here is the Gaming Association themselves admitting something negative like this, so that's gotta be evolution!:cat:

Every game in the casino is set up like that.... the more you play the more you lose..... its called the house edge.... casinos never claimed the more you play the more likely you are to win. Every single person understands that your playing a losing game but they do it for fun or the slight chance they will be lucky.

Not new news

Obviously, the longer you fight the house edge, the less chance you have of beating it.
What I find intersting is that almost every time you read about a person hitting a big jackpot,it almost always occurs very early in a session. I'm yet to hear a guy say he'd been playing for hours on end and was down to his last dollar when he hit. It's always- "I just got there and had just put a twenty dollar bill in the Wheel Of fortune and it hit after a few spins".

Jackpot History

I kinda remeber the jackpot winners of megabucks and some of the stories prior to the win. The one I want to remember as it pretains to this thread happend a few years back. This guy was playing bj for hours and lost a bundle at the tables. He dumps 500 into the megabucks at the casino without winning anything. He really gets pissed off when he leaves the machine and some women walks up to it and hits a small amount say 800. This sends him over the edge and goes back to the machine intent on winning at all costs. He did win the megabucks jackpot for millions but the casino name eludes me but it was in Vegas. blackchipjim
