Very solid hook in Harrahs.

I have hooked up with a regional host that works for Harrah's. If anyone is currently playing at any Harrah's property or would like to start, send me a PM and I will give you the guy's contact info. He has been ACE'S for me and a few friends in AC and Vegas.

Harrah's is generally referred to as the "E.E."
That stands for "Evil Empire" as they are the worst casino chain in the country.
Their comps are the worst and their heat is the hottest. Their game conditions are never inviting to "advantage players".

And yet year after year, their Total Rewards players club wins award after award.
While their games suck, their comps are the best in the biz. The hard part is learning how to juggle the seemingly polar opposites.

Harrahs is the worst

The so-called AWARDS are those bought and paid for by Harrah's

They are as bogus as can be.

The most notable one is from "Casino Player" magazine where they always get the most votes because advantage players do not "vote" (except with their feet) and Harrah's is the largest chain of casinos so they garner the most tourist votes.

Some advantage Players have actually done tests, and have reported that the precise same time at the tables making the precise same flat bets earns blackjack players substantially less comps at Harrah's properties than they do elsewhere.

Whatever floats your boat.
Believe what you want.
Here is what I know- Thus far this year, I have gotten 17 free rooms, over 30 buffets from your Evil empire, all with minimal play. In this day where casinos are cutting everything,Harrahs continues to offer the same level of beverage service as they always have.
Perhaps not as scientific as unknown players tracking comps, but thats the best I can offer

You're a skilled comp hustler though. With all the big bets I get down at their tables, I can barely get a buffet out of them. If you're strictly a blackjack AP, you can't tack HET comps onto your EV like you can at the CT stores. Which is probably why they have a bad reputation among us.

I don't find the games to be so terrible though. The pen is mediocre, but who has much better than mediocre, consistently?

HET is still easily beatable. I recently upgraded to a Diamond card from my play in the Empire, all BJ and Sp21. I do play a much higher %age of Sp21 than BJ at HET houses, and I avoid their H17 BJ games.

Well considering the HA here in CT, comparing 21 to 21 is a no brainer, and so is Sp21, but within CT, 21 has the lower BS EV. In balance, the Sp21 games here are better than a majority of offerings elsewhere, and comparable to AC, NJ... even then Sp21 here offers surrender.

Now that you are Diamond, you could stiff them for the next five years, stay as often as you want and never bet a dime if you choose. The secret is to never bet. If you bet small, they'll catch up to you after a year of so, but if you never make another bet in a Harrahs casino, their state of the art players club program will keep you listed as an absentee Diamond player and send you incentives to bring you back. Cashing the casino incentives will screw you up,but simply using free room offers will keep you off the radar.
I luv Harrahs Total Rewards, but hate HET for their terrible gaming.

I appreciate that advice. I'll be moving next year out of AC territory, so that is part of the "master plan" so I'd have instant room comps in other parts of the country.
