Video Poker heat?

I realize the glory days of positive EV Video Poker are essentially over, but I've always enjoyed VP as a reprise from the BJ tables. My question is simple: would a VP player armed with a Basic Strategy card attract any kind of heat?

One of the nice things about video poker is that you usually don’t get heat from the machine. You won’t get the same comps that a slot player gets, especially if you play a strong game, but I’ve never heard of anyone getting heat for it. The casinos don’t really sweat their machines since they are a guaranteed return.

VP heat is nothing like blackjack. Even if they finally decide they don't want your action, they generally just turn off your mail offers, which kills the profit. Barrings are rare in the VP world, though not unheard of.

There's still reasonably good video poker...

Games that can be beaten for $10-15 an hour consistently. Bigger advantages on some promos.
I'd like to hear more about it. If you don't want to do it publicly, please PM me. Only time I play VP is when there a promo, and only game I play is 9/6 JoB.

There's still .25 full pay deuces wild. A lot of places have quadruple points day, so just find a place that has .25% cashback and play a game with a 99.9% return, and you've got a playable game. It's not flashy, but you can grind out a decent living with a smaller bankroll.
