I know the EC and Golden Nugget are recommended places to play. I'll be arriving on Tuesday. Anyone have any other advice on where to play, or suggestions?

-Dont bother at planet hollywood, or paris, they are full of 6:5
-mandalay bay, aria, and mgm had good s17 ls shoe games.
-I think monte carlo had a good game in HL

make sure to goto the buffet at mandalay bay while you are there, and the one at wynn was really good too, shoot for comps because they were both really expensive.

Golden nugget had some good HL games i think i recall

If you have a car, the number of places increases greatly.
I enjoy playing the Longhorn and the Bighorn- they have a quirky game that allows you to double on any three cards, and surrender.
You really need to give more information. What is a great game for a $5-$10 player might be terrible for a $50 player and vice versa.

The Golden Nugget has NO playable games whatsoever.

Excellent low stakes with very very easy comps try: Alliante Station.

Were staying on the strip. No car, but if a place is worth a trip we can take a cab. Low level games are preferred.

A cab from the strip to Longhorn is easily $30 each way.
What you can do is take the free shuttle from Harrahs to Sams Town and then either walk the half mile or so or take a taxi.
If low rolling on the strip, be sure to take advantage of as many WIN cards as you can find.

Longhorn is on Boulder Highway, about a half mile south of Sams Town, across from the new Eastside Cannery. BigHorn is up north, On Lake Meade Blvd if I recall correctly.
Both are small locals casinos that have good coffe shops and give you a Mrs fields cookie for signing up for their clubs.

The coffee shops have 24 hr specials that are very cheap. The food at the Bighorn is pretty good. My opinion of the Longhorns' food: If you eat there, save the receipt. The county coroner might need it.

I've only eaten at the Longhorn once. Had the 16 ounce hamburger special and thought it was surprisingly good.

@Shad

Sometimes posters tend to make statements in a rather authoritative and even all encompassing (it must be this way) style whether or not these statements are factually accurate.

I also have not insulted or stooped to name calling, so IM (simple) HO, I am still playing nice.

Hope all is well with you
