Warning about Terrible's Loss Rebate

Just a friendly warning to anyone one considering playing terrible's table games and incorporating the loss rebate promotion into your strategy.
The details of the promotion state that losses of $1000 in a 24 hour period on table games MAY be eligible for a $100 cash rebate. Apparently this is the sole discresion of the pit. I was granted the rebate on my first 2 $1000 loss days but not the third.

It is my understanding that they take your recent wins into account, so you can't collect for a $1000 loss on Friday after winnning money Monday thru Thursday.
Did they make you jump thru hoops to collect this rebate? The one time I saw it in action, they made the guy wait well over an hour while " they reviewed the tapes". I guess that was to insure he didn't rathole any chips or something. They wouldn't even give a buffet comp while they did this, either.

Yes, I was also curious as to what kind of restrictions the rebate has. What if you bet $100/hand and lose 1k in 20 minutes? Also, shad mentions tape review. I guess counting/aggressive spreads would be out of the question?

The rules stimpulate that a player using advantage tactics will be disqualified. I was flat betting $100 per hand wonging out TC -1. I figure this brings the house edge down from .4 percent closer to even, and the 10%rebate would make it a plus EV game. Hard to wong out when there is only one table open though. At loss of $1000, stop for the day and book the loss, as the max rebate is $100. When I got ahead by 6 or 7 hundred I quit for the day as well. They didn't counter winning days with losing days as Shad suggusted. I played 8 differnet days, booking 3 losing days (-3150) and 5 smaller winning days, for a small profit. They rebated me $100 for each of the first two losing days but refused to do so with the third, saying I had already been rebated twice. :( I don't see anything in the rules placing limitations on the rebates, other than the very vague "at the discretion of the pit management".

Is it restricted to blackjack? Were any of the losing days a very short session?

Not restricted to blackjack. It is a table games loss rebate promotion. All of my sessions were short. @ $100 per hand, it doesn't take long to lose a grand.

Personally in Vegas I find Loss Rebates more trouble than they are worth.

It just takes too long to get them and I could be going for +EV elsewhere during that time.

At different properties, promo or no promo...I have asked for a loss rebate and it usually takes more than 45 min to get one

This of course is just my singular data point.
