Were any of you guys at the Roman Emperor place in AC yesterday...

Lovin' the empire

I WANTED to stop by that Roman Emperor place yesterday to see if they switched over to the game in which they have 14 decks and the dealer gets to sift through the cards and pick out their two initial cards to play with and the players get two random cards but I didn't have the chance! This brilliant new idea on the part of Harrah's will help pick up the slack of their gross mismanagement better and will go over with the customers better than the other plan in which the casino manager has security goons pat you down for any extra cash that you did not drop during your stay on your way out the door, take it and then say, "Sorry... you lost". hahahhaa Special customers and high rollers (as an additional bonus) get a special guest appearance by Gary Loveman who points his finger in your face and laughs at you and gives a speech on how he is writing himself a 4 million dollar bonus this year...

No, I wasn't there but but give a call when you're in town! I spent the day in PA yesterday but had I known you were going to be around I would have slummed it and hung out at Caesars AC!

Its the only place in AC where I noticed they get slightly sweaty if you don't have a players card and wong out quickly. They are one of the few where the PC actually does a thorough job of asking for players card.

Not major sweat, just a little nosy.

No, I didn't get to the Roman Emperor's, but I did get to that Italian neighborhood. The games continue to go downhill. Management is doing a much better job getting dealers to cut poor pen than ever.

Also, FYI, they laid off 55 floor supervisors last month, according to one supervisor, in the wake of the repeal of the gaming commission's former staffing requirements.

I visited the ViewShip as I had recalled someone saying that the games in their HL area were pretty good. To me, anyway, close to 70% or less pen, is not what I consider good.

AC has become Vegas' best advertisement... and that speaks volumes.

Poker, anyone?
