Most casinos in the US that offer single deck only pay 6-5 on BJs. You want to find places that pay 3-2. Outside of Reno, a few places in Vegas and a handful of other places(ie-venues) you won't find good single deck games.

Pretty much don't even bother learning a good single deck system because you will most likely never have an advantage, even if you count, due to the house edge. It's a little more difficult to count shoe games, but it pays off in the end.

Since nobody answered your question, if you will mainly play against single deck learn AOII or Hi-Opt II if you want the best systems.

Best simple count

That really is a strong system Jack! :) Here is one that I like.....
with card tags for cards 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,T,A respectively: 1,1,1,1,1,1,0,0,-1,-1. Since you added a side count I will too, the 7. Of course, this base count is the tags for the TKO which has BC .975, PE .55 and IC .781. Now, let's add the 7 into the equation which gives BC .984, PE .62 and IC .781. Then, you can bet with running count for single deck without losing any efficiency.

what kind of count you should use

When I was 16 years old,I promised myself to end my life in Vegas being a cardcounter. I wondered too which count I would us. I started with uston APC and sometimes change counts because change is a fundamental thing in order to swing positive. Anyway.....Stick to that what works best for you!!! Simple is that!! Where I am? In vegas being a cardcounter fully illigal but who cares!!!! Zen in the western I will never forget it??? LOL

O Hey Beast:)
Hows the Tunica life? Good to see ya around here again. I thought you fell off the face of the earth.
Ya, the level 3 is a pretty strong system. Im actually practicin a level 4 count with a secondary. Im using the secondary for the play of hands, and as well for betting and INS.

Ive actually been able to determine theres actually five counts to it.5n1(4/5)

1.)2334320-1-2-8
2.)2334320-1-3-4

3.)(02334320-1-4)(A+4/X-1)(A-4/+1)

4.)42334320-1-5
5.)82334320-1-6

Using count 3, and ONE of the two secondary counts I can
Determine what the count is for any of the other four.
Of course this is just for theory, but Im havin a fun time with it. My next plan is to purchase the theory of blackjack and determine the EOR for every hand in blackjack. This will tell me exactly what count I should use for every hand in play. For example Count 2 has the highest efficiency for betting and count 4 has the highest efficiency for INS, and count 5 has the highest playing efficiency for A2 vs 6.
After I determine that(if and when) I can use CVData to generate my Indices.
_____________________________________
A seperate Theory I know have, is using a polarity shceme thats contingent upon the count. 1,3,5,7-2-4-6. The positive(1,3,5,7)is a + progressive and the negative(-2-4-6) is a - progression. The 50$ bet in the positive progression and the 40$ in the negative progression are contigent of the betting count. 4/5 just as the main count.

See: Any successful progression players in the Voodoo section.

Note: This is just for theory of course, especially the progression part. Ill keep ya posted!

The difference between Jackson and Beast is that Beast's 1D KO variant is both playable and sensible.
His method applied to Red7, however, would realize more power from the 7 bivaluate. zg
