Whoa, you guys have a lot of books. I have:

Professional Blackjack
Blackjack Bluebook II
Play Blackjack Like the Pros
KO Blackjack

Renzey's book has been like my bible. I just read Blackwood's and really like it. He has a good way of getting information across. It's actually making me consider a switch to Hi/Lo.

I'm not in the market for any new books, but am really considering plunking down the bucks for CV4.

haha totally joking around  , here's what my Blackjack library includes:

1)Blackbelt in blackjack
2)Play blackjack like the pros
3)The Big Book of Blackjack

Don't really need that many books, got a lot of great information from the people on these boards, plus I utilize various software applications to help me in all my blackjack exploits.

I notice that no-one here seems to have Steve Forte's 'Casino Games Protection' or James Grosjean's 'Beyond Counting' although i'm glad to see that others have picked up Bill Zender's 'Advantage Play for the Casino Executive'. These are the 2 books i'm most interested in getting a read of these days.

I'm new, but read alot...

Beat the Dealer, Thorp
Playing BJ as a Business, Revere
Professional BJ, Wong
Blackjack Bluebook II, Renzey
BJ for Blood, Carlson
Million Dollar BJ, Uston
Blackjack Blueprint, Blaine
BJ Secrets, Wong
Get the Edge at BJ, May
Winning BJ for the Serious Player, Silberstang
Mensa Guide to BJ, Hornik
Easy Casino Gambling, Mitchell
Winner's Guide to Casino Gambling, Silberstang
Get the Edge at Craps, Sharpshooter*

These are mostly in the order of importance IMHO,
and nearly in the order I read them.
* hasn't been read yet.
The first 9 are all excellent books.
The craps book and the casino gambling books
are for cover, mostly.

Next purchases will be Blackbelt in BJ and
BJ Attack3 by Schlesinger. Then I'm done
buying books, and begin training.

Other BJ stuff:

60 Minutes to Winning BJ(DVD), MIT Team, Aponte
CVBJ and CVCX, QFit

I have owned or read just about every book there is on blackjack. The one that has made the most impact is Blackjack Institutes's Home Training Course Manual.

It bundles up a library into one piece, thats all I ever really needed. Years of reading thumbing and a ton of confusion, I tossed or sold on ebay the library I had collected.

It is not a sales pitch for them, the manual would have saved years of effort if it were available then.

When i checked earlier i'm sure nightspirit had posted asking the difference between Card Counting and Advantage Play for the Casino Executive but it doesn't seem to be here now. Maybe it was someone else, or maybe i've read one too many messages and it's finally driven me over the edge....
Anyway - Card Counting is in my opinion a fairly average book covering the basics of - surprisingly - card counting using the Hi/Lo count as i recall and going over the basics of how to spot a card counter.
Advantage Play however is a fantastic work covering just about every sort of advantage play in every game. How they work, and how to spot them. This works both ways as it gives you a good idea of what not to do to get away with different forms of play. It was a close one for the top 5.
Highly recommended.

In my collection, I have the following:

The World's Greatest Blackjack Book
Professional Blackjack
Blackjack Ace Prediction
Play Blackjack like the Pros

I've been meaning to pick up a copy of Blackbelt in Blackjack. Any suggestions on which version/year? I already use the complete zen count with the full index from cvbj. So probably one before the true edge editions.

I also have a couple of poker books.
