What's your HIGHEST RC and TC ever?

The highest RC was I've had was of course on 8d with +33 mid shoe (over +10 TC) and the highest TC is +13 near the end of a 8d. How 'bout y'all?

:cow:

If you're talking High-Low, yeah I've had the equivalent with RPC, a +20 true count around 2/3 of the way through the shoe. Scary because I don't know all the indices out there, am I surrendering 13 vs. 9, how about hitting 14 vs. 10? I'll take it every time though!

I think I had a KO RC over +30 near the end of a shoe a couple weeks ago.

I got so excited, I really didn't even know what to do. I just started playing crazy crackhead moves (in hindsight, horrible mistakes) And I won, much to the dismay of the dealer and everyone else at the table.

Just like you guys said... its really nerve wracking because 1. All the big money up there and 2. Its so rare that you are not really prepared for it. Im afraid of making bonedhead plays too.

About 1 month ago I was using GT which I know most you guys frown upon but I got to +41 with about 1 deck left remaining in 6 deck shoe. My single unit was $100 so I was betting $800 for 3 hands and twice I split then doubled luckily hitting on both. I was nervous since I usually don't get that opportunity. It was a nice end to the shoe.

That's awesome. I love hearing success stories like that. Hopefully I'll have one of my own this weekend.

Have you ever considered learning KO? It's close to many other professional level systems in terms of EV, and it's probably not too much harder to learn that your system. I don't know how GT works, but believe me, KO is not that hard to learn. At least get the book Knockout Blackjack by Olaf Vancura and Ken Fuchs and decide for yourself. At your betting level that increase in power will make you a lot more money.

I've had several experiences with mid-teen positive counts on 6-D using KO. Possibly selective memory, but I seem to recall getting a lot of stiffs with those high counts! A lot of 20 vs 10 pushes too.:flame:

The highest I have seen so far was in Aug at a indian casino. using red 7 the count got to RC of 22 midway through a 6 deck 75% pen game with 2 other players. Got to the point that I went to 2 hands. Got nothing but stiffs as the dealer was hitting 20 or 21. If not that id get crap and the other players would be hi fiving each other.Wiped out my session.

yes i have a similar experience when the counts get good. what happens with me is that i get so darned excited that i start paying more attention to how the hands play out and not enough attention to the count. by the time the hands are played out i've lost my recall of what the rc actually was so i'm stuck as far as further optimal betting.
i'm curious as to how others handle these situations.

I used to have this really bad, and paying way too much attention to the hands.. Nowadays, I think I have trained myself very well. GET the running count first, just like any other round. Make sure you have the INDEXES in mind, maybe even before the cards are dealt out if you have time in between, to prepare for any combination. Its still hard though when you have $1200 riding on it.
