I do it. It also depends on the casino, at certain stores the dealer has to announce it and it does draw attention and other places it is no big deal. If you are at first base ask because that card would have been yours if they didn't burn it and make a comment about it. I have had other players twice make a comment about how "only counters want to see the burn card", so it can carry a small risk.EasyRhino said:Dear god no.

right after they burn, i turn to my friend and say, i'll bet u 5$ the burn card is red. He takes the bet, and if i win he gives me the chip, if i lose i give him the chip... it's a 50/50 bet so in the long run it'll turn out equal...
Plus it's fun to see other ploppy's reactions, when in reality, it's a much more high probability than the game they are playing
