Still here, pogo...how ya doin'? :joker:
Doing good , Being playing more BJ ,but my love for craps is still there. Took some bad hits on craps & decided to stay with BJ & although I do count ,I only take $1000 a trip to play ,so have to watch the variance in my bets . Craps is the only game one can buy in at $200 & walk away with $ 3000 in a short time. I did this a few yrs ago back to back trips to AC. Sad to say ,lost it all back in the next few trips & have not had much of a winning session since. I'm going to ....R in a few days to play BJ ,but you bethu I will put $200 on crap table.. Come on 6 & 8 . Let me have the horn bet high on the 12 if it hit parlay it. CAN'T wait. Love talking to crap players. Take care POGO

Love to hear from some of you guys,if you are still around.
I have played a fair amount of craps thru the years and came up with a very unique way to "push the envelope" on the game, I call it the "Old Ben Kenobe" trick.:cat:

I was at a casino that recently discontinued a BJ game I was playing and I was very upset over it so I thought I would get a little payback for their greedy decision. I decided to play a $30 unit on an under 2% HA bet and employ my trick, this would mean being very patient and moving to different tables, often, lotsa tables at this casino.

I spent a little over 5 hours at the tables, I walked with $582 up, thanks to "Old Ben Kenobe".

I hade stopped using this trick because most casinos I play at have fair games so I would feel bad employing it, and I have been accused of taking shots using it and worse, but at this casino, well.... they deserved it.

The problem with the trick is the unit size cannot be so large as to draw attention, of course that depends on the casino and other action in play.

All in All a trick to be used sparringly.:)

Good to hear that you've still got love for the dice. When you said that it's the only game one can buy in with $200 and walk away with $3,000, I thought "what's pogo's secret" But reading on, your parlay horn high 12 explains the high-risk, high-reward variance! The house loves that play when you're not pulling that $1,800 hit down

Nonetheless, best of luck to you. I was fortunate to get in a solid 20 hours at the dice tables on my last Vegas trip, most of which were off-peak hours...just me and a couple other folks. Vacant tables scare away most players because the action is just too fast (money suck), but I love the shooting opportunities. :joker:

I wonder if it could be related to my Obi-Wan Kenobi trick, or rather, skillz set. You can learn a lot from a Jedi master! View attachment 7299

I may be the worst shooter ever, I would advise to play don't when Pogo has the dice. My buddy had a 52 minute roll & I could not get a spot on the table. Everybody walked with hundreds & one lady cashed in over $10,000 playing with green & black chips. Man! I would love to be in on a roll like that ,but have not seen one half that long in a time. LOL a little story about the parlay > I told stickman if the horn bet hits ,just parlay. Forgot about it & about 4 times they kept asking SAME BET? I swear I thought they were talking about my line bet that I kept losing. I said hell yea! same bet LOL . Tossed stick man green chip & said horn high 12 . I looked & he added it to a stack of black chips & he said pressing sir? I then realized what had happened. NO! stick gives me $2700 brought the horn back to $10 ,come out roll 3 LOL. Sometimes it pays to have a few drinks at the table.
