I ordered Casino Verite software and it is under the impression that the Taj and Marina have 6 deck games. I was there this weekend and there was no such animal. Where can I find the 6 deck games? I also noticed the Marina had a single deck game. Is that the way to go? Thanks

If im not mistaken, most casinos in AC (even Taj and Marina) have 6 deck games but they are all almost exclusively in the high limit areas (50 - 100 minimum) so you are a red chipper you probably didnt see them. And No, the single deck game is not the way to go as blackjacks only pay 6:5.rennyboy said:

Don't bother. Almost all the 6D games are no-mid-shoe. You are much, much better off backcounting an 8D game. AC is all but unplayable without backcounting.

How hard is it, standing behind a table waiting for a good count? This seems like it would pretty suspicious. I know they cant bar you in AC, but what about, Where they can? IT still seems that you would, at least, get some level of heat in AC as well.Automatic Monkey said:

No, you don't get any heat if you're not playing. It seems nobody even notices you. And unless there is another counter at the table they're not going to know what the count is when you enter.jack said:

I believe Trump Plaza has some (about 3) $15 6D tables. They should be adjacent to the high limit pit, along a wall that blocks it from the high limit pit.21forme said:

I guess it was technically mid-shoe entry since when a seat opened up, the player could buy chips and play.
Oh, and, I'll tell you, just like I told my wife, whatever you do, don't play that sucker "Match the Dealer" sidebet.
Such wonderful advice but of course she didn't listen, never does lol, and I have to watch her win $700 over at 3rd base hitting like crazy on the dam thing and getting BJ's at the same time while I win $130 at 1st base and get yelled at by everybody every time I had a match and didn't play it which was always lol.
Come to think of it, the Asian wife next to me eventually had to actually leave the table because I was making her literally sick to her stomach by not playing it and apparently getting alot of matches lol.
Actually, I did play it for a while - my AP play of the week lol - when I noticed she started paying 11-1, instead of 4-1, on unsuited matches too. So I up my regular bet 5X so I can play more on the side bet. I was drooling over this +EV game trying to get my wife to bet more over at 3rd knowing she'd be oblivious lol. And the dealer pays out the wrong amount about 5 more times before going back to paying it right.
Of course I never got a single match for that 25 minutes or so
borgata allows mid-shoe entry on the 6Ders
just fyi, unless someone at the table objects (which usually wont happen unless youre playing the graveyard at borgata and find heads-up opportunities/others playing heads-up), i've never had a problem jumping onto a table there mid-shoe. just my experience. now if youve been backed off there in the past, then yeh, i bet theyll restrict your mid-shoe entry...
