Where the heck is the FAQ?

You guys on here use alot of terms in your posts that confuse many a noob.
I have looked for a thread which explains most of these terms but cant find any.

I am proposing the mods make this the official FAQ and make it a sticky where all noobs can find the explanations of such terms as Wonging and CSMS and other ubiquitous terminology. (this way we dont have to start a new thread just to figure out what the hell a ploppy is:cat: )

Now i know what CSM is, (card shuffling machine, right?) could some one explain if this is some kind of unique shuffling machine? As an AP player should i be worried about any machine used to shuffle cards in a casino?
HOw does that affect my game? I do play several SD and DD games where they use shuffling machines. (i dont know the make or if these are the notorious csms people talk about)

Please help.

In a nutshell, there are two types of shuffle machines.
One type is used to shuffle complete decks. With this type of machine,a dealer deals out a shoe and when it reaches the cutoff point, the cards are placed into the machine, along with the unused cards and shuffled.
These type of machines are fine for card counting, but eliminate some advanced tracking techniques.
A continous shuffle machine is one where the cards just played are immediately put back into the machine and each round is off a fresh shoe. These should be avoided,as you can't count them.

Speaking of a FAQ / permanent home for oft-refered to information:

Is there any interest in setting up a wiki on the site? Between abbreviations, terms, counting systems, biographies, etc, etc, there must be a ton of data begging to be documented.

If there is, I'd be interesting in "giving back to the community" by helping to set it up. (I'm a bit of a techie, so I can also help with the backend part of setting up MediaWiki).
