which is better?

Greetings,

I will try not to ask to many questions. I was wondering about which is better, one deck pitch where you can split pairs twice, double down on any two cards that total 10, or 11, or two deck pitch where you can split pairs no limit and allowed to double down on any two card total. Thank you al in advance for the answers and input.

Sincerely,
John

a) Do both games play 3:2 on blackjack? That will be most important?
b) Are you counting? If so, the relative penetration between the two games would be the most imporant thing. A deeply dealt 2d game will be a single deck game with a shallow shuffle point.
c) from a basic strategy standpoint, they're probably very similar. (Unless one is H17 and one S17)
d) All things equal, the single deck is probably better.

Yes sorry to leave that out but its 3:2 and its stand on all seventeens. The casino in question is **************.
I am learning on counting cards but I am a rookie at best right now. I simply hate the hard rock, here in Fla, and no longer go there. I rather wait till I make trips to other casinos.

Both games look solid. I see the rules as having a 0.25 house advantage for the single deck game, and 0.19 for the double deck game.

If you're just flat betting, I'd find the most crowded, slowest table you possibly can. If they are hand shuffling, I'd go with a single deck table, just because it will shuffle twice as often.

Thank you Rhino, your info as been great and I do like the 2 deck game, I seem to have the most success at it and card counting I know will take alot of work, I generaly get distracted by other players and sometimes a waiteress. lol
