why isnt 8 vs 6 in the illustrious 18? where can i find a bigger index list?

i would think 8 vs 6 would be in the i18, because it is in the OBS (optimal basic strategy) for 'speed count'.. in case anybody doesnt know what OBS is, it is a modified basic strategy, and altho that seems stupid to modify bs, it actually is not, because think about this.. when you stand on your 16 vs 10, double your 9 vs 2, stand on your 12 vs 3, etc because the count is high, you will have more money out, thus it would be ok to say always do those moves, because the mistake you will be making when the count is low will be outweighed by the fact that you are betting low when you make those mistakes and have a lot of money out when the count is high.. remember, it is SIMPLIFIED.. btw, in no way am i saying speed count is good, im just reading the book for the hell of it..

didnt mean to ramble on about speed count there, as this thread has nothing to do with that, im just asking if anybody knows a few sites where i can find a list of more than 20 indexes

Doubling 8 vs. 5 and 6 are great plays but they didn't quite make the top 18. However, since many people don't use the indices for splitting tens they replace 10,10 vs. 5 and 6 with doubling 8 vs. 5 and 6 to get back most of the EV from not splitting tens. Doubling 8 is probably the next thing to learn after the Ill18 and Fab4.

Broken record: This is covered in Blackjack Attack.

im a slow reader, but i plan to rent bj attack and some other books, but right now im finishing up speed count, then i have to read knockout bj, but maybe i should skip both of those since i already have a count, and just go for some other books.. besides, both of those books could, and probably do (speed count) have exaggerated claims.. actually, thats why i wanted to read speed count, to see how outrageous it is
