I have a question. If I walk around the casino backcounting and just Wonging in and out making small say, $10.00-$20.00 bets, what kind of advantage do I have? They say the dealer always wins more hands whether you count or not-so you need the bet spread to have the advantage. O.K., but if I'm only betting when the count is elevated and never betting when the count gets low ???? Thanks for any help.

It depends on what TC you Wong in on, but I would guess you probably have around a 0.3% advantage.

Full Kelly

For someone that is only wonging in when the player has the advantage, how should you size your bets? Should you use full kelly or still use a fractional kelly? Theoretically, you shouldn't go broke using full kelly by only betting when you have an advantage over the house. How do most people find their bet ramp when only wonging?

Theoretically, you shouldn't go broke using full kelly by only betting when you have an advantage over the house.

As long as you resize your bets as your bankroll fluctuates, yes. If you never resize your bets then you still have a 13.5% RoR. Just like with non-Wonging proportional betting you can adjust your unit size to get whatever RoR you want. The size of your bets at each TC will depend on your advantage, bankroll, variance and kelly factor.

Well, in general your min bet might be as much as 10 times as much as min bet in a play-all still being full-Kelly.

I think full-kelly is just a place from which to divide by at least 4 and maybe 10 due to liklihood of losing high proportions of bankroll.

Anyway, I guess they use sims to figure bet ramp.

Keeping bets the same

Honestly I keep my bets the same and parley my bets when I am winning using wonging. It is a better way for camouflage too. whatever my unit is I will have 100BB available. Dependent of the unit size you could play full kelly what I suggest doing so when wonging or 1/2 kelly.
