This guide is very useful and understandable. But it was written years ago.
Do you still recommend Gemini and Electrum? I only used deposited and withdrew once at an online casino (with Coinbase) years ago, so I do not feel very comfortable with crypto. Ease of use and low fees are most important for me. Thank you kindly.
It has been awhile since we updated this guide but the principles are pretty much the same. Crypto hasn’t quite improved yet in terms of user friendliness so I can understand it’s a bit daunting at first.
Electrum is still pretty good but can be a bit confusing. These days, I personally use a hard wallet, e.g. Trezor which is a bit safer since your crypto is stored offline and is less susceptible to potential security threats and can store more than just BTC. The downside of doing it this way though is that it costs money to purchase a hard wallet.
If Binance is available in your country then it can be a convenient option since a lot of crypto casinos are starting to accept BNB (Binance coin) so you can easily deposit/withdraw directly from your Binance account to the casino.
No, it isn’t worth it if you’re counting cards. A single deck runs out too fast if you don’t strike with a large bet differential when it goes positive, and you’re counting on the 3:2 payout when you’ve bet high on a strongly positive deck. That also gets you thrown out instantly. It’s not like 40 years ago when you could get away with that.
If you want to take advantage of single decks and not get thrown out you have to have tremendous discipline and keep the differential low, which means you need the 3:2 payout even more. And even then they’ll throw you out sooner or later.
Really, the only way to approach this as an individual player (not a team) is to grind it out with shoes, which when they go positive tend to last longer.
Excellent formateur, très utile.
merci !
I reviewed the lessons here when I forget them. They are great. 😁
Thank you for this good information.

Some examples are:
Would these indices apply to double deck as well since you mention that double deck resembles 6 deck?
10/10

Because the “true count” can go to extremes more often.
