1-5 spread safety

playing at $100+/hand is it safe to spread 1-5 without getting any heat (even though it'll be a break even game)?
With great LV Strip type rules (rsa and late surrender) 1-5 will get the money provided you avoid playing too many negative counts. The benefit of a 1-5 spread is that you can play longer sessions and multiple hot shoes per session. The negative is that you have to be more aggressive about table hopping. CVCX software is very beneficial in that you can determine for each rules set and wongout point your win rate for a 1-5 spread and see exactly what you are up against. Your exact edge depends on the exact rules and penetration...the only thing I can say for certain is that you will have a mild edge...even for play-all you'll have around a 0.3% advantage in a horrible game. If you're gonna play to a thin edge of say 0.5% you'd better have a lot of comps to justify it...you'd probably be better off just paying for your room and using a stronger approach and then use the resulting mail offers for free rooms on subsequent trips.

does anyone know the wong out point with KO?
For six deck, I would use something like -28 for the first third of a shoe, -20 for the next third of a shoe, and -12 for the last third of a shoe. That is for an IRC of -20. Early in the shoe you should be looking to change tables, late in the shoe you should be looking to just sit out, make phone calls, or run to the bathroom.
