Sounds sort of tempting. But if they were crowded on a Monday night, they'll probably be swamped on Sunday before Labor Day.

Shhhhhhhhhhh

I liked it better before people started talking too much about the Suncoast. Being that coast properties tend (what tend, they do) sweat the money and are always on the lookout for those evil card counters, the less said about a good game, and why it is a good game, at a Coast casino, the better. But actually since everyone seems to know, please ignore this post.

Suncoast is sort of the exception to the rule. They are no more or no less agressive towards counters now then before... BUT they got smart - management finally did the math and recognized that deep pene would make more money - dealers there are instructed to cut 75% and are monitored for it. This makes other Coast properties' mgmt, especially Barbary, a joke because they are so quick to bar with 45% pene. Suncoast KNOWS that they are at the top of the list of best counter games in town. zg

Sahara

Played quite a bit in the Sahara back in March, don't remember any CSM's, but almost every table had an automatic shuffler, a good thing for ap's. $3 and $5 available here, and don't forget about the $50 gaming chips for $40 promotion.

Stardust had an ok $5 shoe game. Nothing exceptional in terms of rules/penetration.

Slots-a-Fun: Had a good time there. They too used automatic shufflers. their's were a different type than the ones I have always seen and they were constantly jamming up. $2 and $3 action here, but at this level the tables tend to attract very slow, indecisive players that cut into your EV by reducing hand count. I really like this casino's atmosphere, the open air feel is a blast.

Stopped in at the Tropicana. One $5 table, CSM chugging away.

The Fremont had $5 action, but I didn't play.

Barbary Coast had low $$ games, but un-playable penetration.
