I was wondering if anyone had heard of a player getting backed off playing a 6/5 SD game. I have done a little research and the game I would be playing if I could get a nice advantage with a 1-8 spread. Would the casinos eventually start to pay attention to me? Or would I be able to get away with this spread for a long time. I figure I could get better comps from playing this game also.
Been backed off a single deck 6/5 game for flat betting, with a whole lot of hole carding thrown in. Or perhaps it was just for winning. They never told me why and I never asked them. Was at the corporate place that protects their games with bad rules instead of good staff.

Spreading 8-1 low stakes on a poor game, thinking it might buy you a pass at high stakes, in the same casino, on a good game, could backfire. If they mark you as a counter on that single deck game, you have already been made when you change games.

Nice job taking money from them at their own game of deception. It must have made them mad to be losing money on a 6/5 game.:)

I wasn't planning on jumping from the 6/5 to the other higher stakes games. I might be totally off, but it seems like they would not pay a lot of attention to the 6/5 unless someone was winning big.

Thanks for the compliment:
My thoughts are that you might be giving them more credit for understanding their games than they deserve.
Just because you know a 6/5 game is not a good game, does not mean that they will ignore it or even that they consider it a bad game.
Good variance.
