Why would they care? You are really getting over-paranoid about these things.
Me--paranoid? Why do you ask?:laugh::laugh:

I just thought reviewing the tape was standard on big wins; and, if they could prove you were using an alias card (or at least, one that's not your own), perhaps they would have some reason to potentially nullify your jackpot?

But I see what you're saying: they'd have no way of knowing it is an alias card--because you could always just say you were using your buddy's card so he could get the points--and then present your real card and drivers license.

Under that scenario there's no way they can deny a jackpot--as it doesn't matter who's card was in the machine, all that matters is who was sitting in the seat, right?

Best regards,

FD

The only time it matters who is playing the card is if the card wins the jackpot, not the machine.
Stations,as an example, has a random jackpot that randomly picks a card that is in play and awards it ,say, $50,000. In that case, the player using the card only wins if he is the actual cardholder or a spouse.
Any other type of win is a bearer instrument and if you are playing the machine,it's yours.
They check the internal tape on the machine to make sure it wasn't tampered with, not the security tapes. In fact, coverage of slot areas can be very spotty, as we found out when my friends purse was stolen as she played on a machine.
