Just thinking outloud here. All of a sudden this site is swamped with new people. Welcome everybody!!! And then Exgriffinman shows up . Seems to be legit.
I'm just sayin.....kinda weird. 3 great poker sites are shut down. Hmmmmm.
Our president finds his birth certificate. Hmmmmmm.
(Still just thinkin outloud) :) The mississippi is flooding. The Corp is gonna blow a levee. Tornadoes killing hundreds. Nuclear meltdown in Japan after mega quake!!
Trump running for president...(ole bankrupt trumpt).
How much more can I take?
Weird stuff........what's next ZG eating McD's and Taco Bell???

I hear ya, M. If you read some of the posts from last weekend, I was doing the same thinking out loud over the weekend. I am/was not familiar with the poker sites. That seems to be the accepted reason behind this influx of new posters/members. I am not convinced the two are related as these new posters are all talking strickly blackjack, not poker. And the majority of them have similar stories (been lurking for several year, been counting for several years, but just decided to start posting), and even similar style names and posting styles. :confused:

I brought it to the attention of both members and management earlier this week. Ken confirms they are all from different IP addresses and different locations. People have suggested there are ways a single person could do that. I am not a tech type guy, so that's all beyond me. But I did my part, so will just wait and see what happens. :rolleyes:

If I remember correctly, we had a similar situation in the past, not to this extreme, that did infact turn out to be a single poster playing games.

Some of them may be SEO link-juice spammers, laying down cover before they add their link(s) to their signatures. zg

Mach, do not fear. Our ZG will soon explain all, over on ZZ. (HAARP it all coulda been... including The Trump.) As for poker, am I the only one here who gets bored sh*tless sitting forever waiting for a decent coupla cards to start with? I guess poker dudes may get bored with BJ as well. Don't ask me why... :)

well sinc eonline poker is gone for now, us poker players are trying to find a new leaf to lay some eggs on. So BJ is the next best thing :D

Also i have always loved the game of BJ. I have always felt (b4 i knew about card counting) that there could be a way to beat the game.

I was 18 when i started playing BJ and fell in love with it. Always thinking, this game has to be beatable... if only i had masterfull memory!

around 19 i had gotting BS down pretty tight, and thought if i ever ran great i would come up some.

Sure enough when i turn 20 i find out about card counting and that changed the game forever!!

Why don't you just play poker still? I feel like casinos still have poker rooms?

my poker $ is all stuck on Full tilt and if i ever see that money again it would not be enough to play 2$/5$ no limit holdem. My online bankroll is no were near enough to play 2/5 lol wish i had more then of course i would just play live. but live is much slower, and is a different game from online

Where were you when you heard?

Some people near the slots began babbling about it just as the dealer at my table cut off less than half a deck from a six-deck shoe. Best guess was about 21 cards, with one burn card. So figure penetration of 290 out of 312.

Time stood still. The word "Osama" echoed briefly, then departed my consciousness as I witnessed something I had never seen before: 93% shoe penetration.

Nothing else mattered at that moment but stifling the urge to say to the dealer "I can't believe you just did that!"

Live is different, but much easier. You can actually get a read on people.

Keep in mind that most of the big poker stars made their living playing live.

Yes the influx of new members could be ex Al Qaida members looking for new venues too. With the fearless leader gone they have to find something to occupy thier time? They could also be on a covert operation to find if they can glean information of the real inner workings of making money for alterior motives?:joker:
