Am I going to 0?

Wow, cant believe this thread was last december. One year later, my bankroll is 46k after just dropping -3400 in 4 hours at 2x150.

My bankroll at the time of this thread last year was 47k, and a year later im at 46k. Im sick of this. Im not letting expenses drain me anymore. Starting Jan 1st, im going all out 100 hours a month minimum until my eyes fall out onto the table. Not seeig my bankroll grow since April 2017 of 61k is intolerable and completely depressing. Time to get off my ass and just go for it. Whatever happens happens.

But wait….haven't you lived off of that money for the last year? So you can't say your bankroll hasn't grown. It grew, but you used that money for living expenses. That is sort of the way it is supposed to work.

I don't know what your living expenses are, nor your projected EV, nor how many hours you are playing. Perhaps some of those need to be adjusted , like playing more hours to cover your expenses, but I don't think you have proven this doesn't work, I think you have proven just the opposite and don't even realize it.

I never said i haven't made money at the game throughout the span or that "it", whatever "it" is that you're referring to. My focus of this recent post was the 'growth' aspect of my bankroll. My plan coming here wasn't exactly just to cover expenses. Im going to really try to hammer out the hours this coming year. Im still very paranoid about several big casinos in town and coincidentally they're all next to each other, so it wont be easy to overcome that and I'm not sure how to overcome it at this point. Probably has become an obsession at this point.

But I gotta say....those casinos that you are talking about....that are all right near each other. I don't know why you even play any of them. Do you know not a single one is in my primary rotation. Occasionally I might play one, especially during prime event nights. But that is a different plan of attack for me. I just think there are way better opportunities and games in your bet range around town that you should be focused on. But whatever. That is just me. I hope your way works out for ya. I really do.

He must have the inside scoop that it's rigged because ive been all over town and i dont know which games hes exactly talking about that are so great other than a select few, maybe 3-5 at least in terms of SHOE games. The strip has a decent number of good games to play as well, but he always says the games are terrible there. If hes avoiding the strip soley because of heat, that's irrelevant if youre keeping your sessions short like he does so it boggles my mind. Maybe he does a lot of hit and run DD.

You might consider getting a part time job to pay most or all of your monthly nut so all your winnings are BR growth rather than almost paying your life's expenses. Once you get that bigger BR you can decide if you want to go full pro or keep the job that allows near full or total growth of BR from your winnings. There are times it is largely a waste of time trying to play. No reason you can't do something to generate certain income during those time periods. It will certainly up the likelihood you make your goal, maybe as much as tenfold.
