From what I've heard, if you want to venture to Ameristar, the best playing conditions are found at other locations.

It's crowded, has poor games, if you're betting $25/hand you're the largest bettor in the place, and you have a 70% chance of getting stabbed.

2 AP friends recently played the HL room there and on the way out were stopped and threatened by 4 players, gang member type, that told them if they ever play like that again to play the lo limit tables,,,OR ELSE,,,I guess they really meant it!
