Too much.

Look it's summer and school's out, right? How about you and your partner get in the car with your bankrolls, laptops and a Motel 6 catalog and hit the road? You guys have the dedication and the knowledge, what are you jerking yourselves around with a $25 max game for? You have some excellent games just a few hours to the East, and I suggest you get out there and see what real blackjack in real casinos is like.
Can you give me some details of the great blackjack in MN that you've been mentioning? I have only been to Shooting Star Casino. They had an amazing DD game, but the rest of their tables were crappy 6D games. PM me if you want.

I don't really want to play any camo at these games. They aren't very good. They are 4d, das, s17, 70-75% pen. The big thing is, the limits are low, 1-25. You can't really make much unless you spread huge. So that's what I do, I spread from 1-2x25. They only allow you to go to 2 hands. I bet 1 dollar in all negative counts, 25 in positive counts, and when I reach +4 I bet 2 hands of 25.
Thats a great game! zg

Me and supercool are going to only do team tactics now, so it won't look like we are counting. Only thing is we will still be spreading, just not with the count, so they will probably still think we are counting.
If you are at the same table you can take turns placing the big bets. zg

Yeah, but only spreading 1-50 it is! (Which is what gives us away so easily) I think someone ran a sim for us on these conditions and the EV was only like 12 dollars per hour. The limits are just too low.

Unless anyone else can run a new sim and find out anything else.

I really dont think they caught us by counting and seeing that are bets followed with their count. They just think we were because of our bet spread, going from one dollar to 25 all of a sudden. Many dealer's suspected us of counting, but I am pretty sure they didn't count along to find out. I bet if I were to ramp my bets around not with the count they would still kick me out.

i agree. i would love to have that game nearby. except for the $25 table max.... rules wise though... tasty.
That's what makes the game crappy, the 25 dollar max. Even spreading 1-25 you really can't make all that much money... certainly less than 10 dollars/hour.

There is no such thing as a pit boss in these "casinos". It's just the dealers, with no pit watching.
So let me get this straight…you’ve got a good game, an empty table, a lazy, sloppy dealer, no pit bosses, no surveillance, unregulated (inconsistent) house procedures, a partner, and you burn them out by jumping from $1 to multiple table max bets?

If you tell me that they use a hand-shuffle I’ll cry.

P.S. – I’m afraid to ask what kind of cards they use.

Yes, that was dumb of us to do straight card counting on them. We were'nt even planning on it. We were just going to count for a little bit while we practiced other methods. They just caught on quicker than anticipated.

The problem is we burned out all the casinos that are REALLY close to us, but there are still plenty we havn't played at that are within 3 miles. We are no longer counting, but are going to only use team strategies or advanced strategies. These casinos expose the bottom card so we will be using the cut card game, and they have weak shuffles, so you know what we'll be doing with that.

It's still going to be a problem because they don't know anything about counting. If we play the cut card game, we will be betting big on the first hand, and then be betting small for the rest of the shoe, unless there was something to track. They will see us spreading and think we are counting still.

They use Bee cards.

MN/WI have plenty of 4D games with typical pen to 1 deck, but you'll find dealers cutting down as low as a half deck sometimes. Table max from $200 to $500, with a couple of surrender and RSA games and at least one very beatable sidebet. It is an ideal destination for players at your level.

What's more is most of these places are very unaccustomed to advantage players and you can really exploit them. There are a lot of stores, and you could play for years without burning them out. If you don't already have CBJN, spring for a $25 trial and you will see exactly what and where these games are.

Just send them the current issue, don't make them buy the trial! If AutoM won't, drop me a line. zg

Jesus, you're in low-roller nirvana! My "close" games are 45 minutes away, and have $10 minimums!

You know, what most surprises me about your debate with that dealer is that she debated back.

Anyway, if you want to try to camo your way back at that particular bar, then I'd recommend getting hammered. Go in, start pounding booze, and then play cards while plastered. If you're lucky, you can somehow make it seem like you're consuming more liquor than you really are. If you're really lucky, you can still count while drunk. Throw in some basic strategy mistakes. Ideally, smell like weed when you walk in the door. Spread bets wildly.

Then, do this every time you play cards there. You'd have a shot.

I don't think this would work. I think we have already been marked and there is nothing we can do at a few places. One place barred supercoolmancool and they spread the word around town to the other related charity casinos. Some charities have tables at more than one location.

The reason I don't think losing will get us back in is because we really havn't even been winning. As a team we are down over 500 dollars over several charities. Although I did take about 350 dollars from one casino in about a half hour and ditched out. The next day supercool goes to them and gets banned. I don't know if those events are related or not.

They blacklisted me, sure, but they didn't read me the trespassing act. I'll be back.

A hot woman with a pronounced adam's apple who's blindingly drunk.

By the way, are these legitimate charities, or is it the Italian-American Garbage Worker's Benevolent Fund?
