Go to Mo-Sun and you can use your points to fill the tank at their gas station. At MGM/FW you can buy Mobil gas cards 87.50 in points for a $50 gas card. So your just stuck with the tolls.

If your playing large enough or alot of slots/VP you can get a limo and pass on the bus.

I would go there over AC if I could but it's a very far drive for me. The late surrender rule there gives a huge edge for us over AC.

I am going to AC next week, monday the 20th to be exact. I found that the borgata has $100 free slot dollars for new members and I am not a member there yet. Therefore I think I will cash in on that deal. Does anyone know a) which casinos still offer favorable J or Better machines and b) which casinos offer the best bjack tables during the weeknights.

Comped rooms in AC

I have always been able to get a room in AC on any day of the week. I usually get a room at Harrahs or Caesars. I know things are getting tough for the casinos but I hope things don't change. I will be going thru AC in August. Are you a diamond player with Harrahs, this would help. I play on a $25 table about 8 to 10 hours per day. At that rate you should be able to get rooms and food all comped. I also go to Vegas at least 3 times per year and they also comp the rooms and food.

Just remember that all low stakes BJ at Harrah's A.C. stores are H17; making the games virtually unplayable.

Well I'm not diamond. And I don't play 8-10 hours a day. Maybe 2-3 of BJ and another 2-3 of poker.

If what NJlady says is true, they now have 6 deck H17 at Caesars.

H17 is fine, just backcount it, as the added house edge evaporates quickly in high counts.

Just make sure to laugh demonically when you have a huge count and the dealer hits his A6 with a 9. Adios, pinche cabron.

Full pay jacks or better video poker has a 99.54 return. (house edge of .46) The game is still a long term EV loser, but is a good way to cheaply earn extra comps, as most casinos value slot and VP player much more than table game player and comp them better. You should be warned though that this 99.54 return is based on perfect strategy play and playing max coins on each spin. To realisticly be a winner, you are going to need to hit the royal flush, which supposedly happens every 40,000 hands or so. I say suppossedly because personally I have never a royal flush in what I would guess is about 100 hours of play. :( Therefore I decided the extra comps earned were not worth my efforts.
Not really relevant here, lol, but, for you and Thunder, say, your 100 hrs at 400/spins/hr= 40000 spins, then, assuming the RF cycle is 1 in 40000 spins, then (39999/40000)^40000=36.8% which would be chances of not hitting a RF yet lol.

Take it from there lol.

Not that I think either of you don't already know that or are feeling sorry for yourself for not having had one yet.lol.

Apologies, I couldn't help myself in trying to figure out the chances and I rarely play VP, let alone full-pay JOB lol.
