This kind of statement is what's wrong with the world today..you are missing the point. It's the principle of the thing... it is not the money.. it's just money. But when you start letting people get away with things just to avoid a little pain and suffering... you end up with the world we have today. I recently had a guy named "jojo" steal an Iphone from me... I tracked him down and got it back.. but that's another story.

I carry pepper spray with me everywhere I go, as well as a false second wallet with only $25 in cash and other people's players cards. If I'm mugged, they'll get to run after the false wallet and then they'll be pepper sprayed.

Who knew it would be an advantage to be middle-aged? :laugh: Other than being middle aged, I'm very tall for a woman. I'm not sure if men no longer hit on me or if I've been married so long I just wouldn't recognize it even if they did. As long as we're not counting the falling-down drunks.

I don't carry a purse - it's a pain in the ass at the table and just about everywhere else. I wear jeans or slacks with lots of pockets. A motorcycle jacket would also do nicely - even in hot weather, I usually carry a jacket or vest of some sorts (more pockets) because I have nearly frozen to death in a casino when the outside temperature was 110+.

My daughter gets hit on all the time but she's perfected the art of scaring the living daylights out of a guy without even opening her mouth. I'm not quite sure how she does it, but it appears to be very effective. :grin:

Okay, I now feel safe!

After reading a current post about “hustlers and safety” I decided to post my situation. Being a female and traveling alone to various casinos at times I feel extremely vulnerable going to the parking lot to my car or even in the hotel elevator.

Good morning to all:

Just to update all you awesome forum members that in two weeks I will receive my permit to carry after an extensive day of professional training and practicing at home...luv the new ruger lcp with laser...I am so spoiled!
In addition, I have ordered a small travel pepper spray keychain and a million and something volts mini taser. So whether I am driving or riding I will always have some form of protection on my personage! :grin:
Isn’t freedom and choice great!
