I could care less whether or not the man has worked for Griffin. If it's ZG or someone else posting as an alternate ego, I could care less.

ExGriffinman has so far posted nothing but useful information, which is more than I can say for a great MANY of the contributors to this site.

When I first became a member here, I was ALSO met with skepticism, but NOTHING like THIS! Why not just sit back & peruse the man's contributions? EVERYTHING we read here (and EVERYWHERE, for that matter) should be taken with a grain of salt anyway! :(
Sucker, I'm not here for a grain of salt! But I will take a crumb from the casino's, that's all I ask is a lousy stinkin crumb.. :)
You are right about useful information posted by EXG though, but come on AP's by nature are skeptical anyways. No?
I have a lot more respect for a man that will stand up to the grilling, than a namby pamby guy.
We r talking about a guy that could kill a lot of guys livelyhood here.
At this point in time if EXG was invited to the BASH I would have to seriously consider passing on my invite. But given enough time and things prove to be on the up and up, I would love to meet the man.
I am definitely leaning towards him being legit.

Until recently OSN was fairly regional (hence the O  ) and not nationwide, as it is now. I tend to believe EGM. If he was a poser, he would certainly not admit to not knowing of OSN and doing a simple Google search on "OSN casino" educates oneself quickly.
OSN is definitely in the midwest.......central midwest......

Well said. Too much time is wasted on the issue of whether he is real or phony. If his information is helpful, he should be a welcome addition to our Forum. It's beginning to sound like the birther issue.

He does no harm that I can see by his presence here. If he says something off the wall, that will be a different story. As for inviting him to the Bash, I think that is the one case where careful vetting ought to be employed. If he passes the CP test, that will probably be the last word on all this. In the meantime, he has done nothing to deserve more than the scrutiny we give every other member, although he could have saved himself a lot of trouble by using a different alias and mentioning, Oh, BTW, I used to work for Griffin. So a lot of this he has brought on himself.

I agree 100%, aslan. That's why I welcomed him and took advantage of the opportunity to learn from him. So I will say again. Welcome exgriffinman. :)

Now what's the deal with Ex-griff. He wasn't born in Hawaii??:laugh:

I think this is a great idea! The midwest is where all the good games and troublemakers are anyway. Those guy having a field day with those good conditions deserve a little heat :flame: :p

Off topic, but that issue has not even been close to being settled, despite what that kiss ass George Stephanapolis keeps harping. In fact his sudden ability to produce a seemingly valid birth certificate after not being able to do so and/or refusing to do so raises a whole lot more red flags. I'm still waiting for his explanation about his name change and the absence of any records at a few different colleges where no one can recall him attending.

Reading the discussion, seems that trying to be a high stakes player in the high limit room, it's hard to last without a player's card.

yes, i don'twannabe a pro card counter, but my hat's off to those who are able to make it happen. my needs and dreams are so small that just a little supplementary social security income from a bit of AP stuff, bj included works just fine for me. and AP stuff is interesting. so but yah, maybe just pass the cake and lemme have it too. :)

Your signature (Will Rogers quote) goes about 90% toward proving your authenticity. Anyway, it makes you likable.

Did you say you are a card counter? Would you like to talk about some of your counting experiences?
When I first started counting cards I guess I was like alot of people on here and started with a book and a deck of cards. I counted people down on the backside of the camera for 3 to 4 years. I then was given an opportunity in Vegas, so I moved to open up a new casino. This was the first time I was exposed to Handheld games.

Vegas was it for me, Man I loved it...I was working with this older guy, a real grifter. After a shift one night he asks me if I want to go out, I asked where and he said to hit a couple of casino's. I asked him "Hit" and he said sure were gonna count and make some cash. I told him I was reluctant because of what we did, and he said,"were not playing in our own store so it doesnt matter, just don't get caught". Then I told him I had never actually counted on a live game before..He said, Youve been practicing for years and can nail a counter to the wall...your ready.

He took me to some grind joints, Local places mostly (as I look back I get embarassed to say I was even in there) places like the skyline, Vacation Villiage, Jokers wild, Showboat ect. Anyway, This guy really showed me everything about blackjack that I didn't know and before long I was counting and Holecarding four nights a week with him. We both played our own BR, we didn't have much but he would always ask,"What you buy-in for?" and Id tell him, He would then ask,"did you double your money...if you did lets go". The off to somewhere else. We did this together for about a year and a half until we split up. It was a good sidejob for me at the time, we never got backed off.

And here we are today, a couple decades wiser...recently I walked into a casino and bellied up to a four deck shoe game, bought in for $1500 and started to play unrated. About 5 minutes into play, the pit boss comes over to me and asks to speak with me, I say sure. He asks me "are you so and so" and I said no. He said yes you are ,because Ive seen you on some videos that I have in my office! So being smart I asked him what I was wearing in the video's, He said that it just didn't matter because Im not playing, I asked play blackjack? He said playing anything including slots.

I left there thinking to myself, either that guy spanks off to those video's or he's got a great memory.

Neat story.

I have never been recognized in a casino, but a couple of months ago a pit boss came over to me and said, "You look just like George Kennedy!" They are watching us, but what they're seeing is a multitude of things. I seldom get squeamish any more when I see a pit guy scrutinize me. I just turn on my biggest smile.

George Kennedy...Really? wow thats funny...There have been so many times I would have the pit or a casino call and say,"I think I have so and so here". I would either take a look (if I could) and say sorry but thats not him or have to ask,"Tell me about they're play"...they would tell me what they could, I would say,"I doubt it's them but I'll take a look". 85% of the time it was a mis-identification on they're part. I can't count how many times it's happened.

I was playing at the top floor casino in Cannes. I turned to the guy next to me & said "You look just like George Hamilton!". Everyone in the casino - players, dealers, pit crew - busted up laughing. Turns out, it WAS George Hamilton; mole & all!

Once, while receiving a lap dance , a girl told me I looked just like Sean Connery. Flash forward a couple of hours and a girl told me i look just like Dom DeLuise.
I've heard the Connery comparison before, but that was my first Dom D.

Isn't that kind of like Macy's never heard of Gimbel's, or Steve Wynn never heard of the Venetian.

P.S. Be careful of those scorpians ;)
Oregon....seriously? No I havent herad of this coalition till now...Went to theyre website and checked it out, Same old idea just different people doing it. I would be concerrned anytime casinos band together as in this case but without viewing the information thay have to offer I will stick to saying I would be more concerned with Biometrica's SIN Network. I havent had the need to network in a gaming protection capacity for several years which is why I haven't heard of them...Oregon...Seriously HAHA
