i just feel like since barona is 18 alot of players have no clue how to play and that hurts others that do know how to play. whereas in harrahs only 21 and over. How is the HL room at harrahs?

just to clarify. in a DD game. when i want to double down i just flip them over say i want to double then put the chips next to the hand? and then does the dealer show me the next card or do i have to wait till his hand is over

Players

You will find very good players at Barona. Pretty good to very good at Rincon. Bankroll of $700 should do ($25 table) but only buy-in for $200-$300. Double down card will be dealt face down but you can look if you want, valuable if it is the first of two hands you are playing. HL room at both are nice, Rincon has good DD rules at $50/hand. Also, not busy during the day so heads up is the norm.

Casinos

I have never been to a casino that will not let you hand them more money, especially after you just lost all you bought in for before.

Jingber05, just go play.

you are asking for trouble bringing only 900.
2 grand is a MUCH safer amount for a session bankroll if you are playing 25 min DD..

i am assuming you are playing double deck also...

On a 25 min table, im assuming you are spreading 1-8, so if you bring 900 you will only have 5 max bets.

try to bring 2k so you can at least have 10 max bets.

putting 4-6 max bets out there isnt the rarest thing in the world. (i.e. split & re-split vs a dealer 6 and double down on each.)

if you're playing 6D shoes, then you are most certainly under-capitalized

i mean 900 is a good amount b/c I usually bet table min or my max bet is 100 thats it.

my flat answer on whether 900 is enough cash:

if you play 25 minimum, NO

if you play 5 minimum, sure.

going to barona tomorrow..i look forward to playing in their double deck game..
I went down there last night to check out the single deck. It was nice, but better if heads up (crappy RO5!).

Anyway, the moment I sat down floor asked if I wanted a comped meal. Hadn't even played a hand yet.

They were having some strange promo last night (people walking around in safari animal costumes on stilts). Left up 11 units.

yea i was there on saturday. i was up 1700 on 2 deck until i switched over to 1 deck. i have no clue why. lost 800 fast. I gotta say 1 deck is a joke. the dealer pulled nothing but 21

what does RO5 mean?
1 deck is fun! RO5 (rule of 5) 3 players plus 2 rounds is rule of 5.

4 players plus 2 rounds is rule of 6.

#of players + #of rounds before shuffle.

The more, the better!
