Effort (and supporting cost) of scavenging for a machine and the ability to reverse engineer electromechanical (or software) systems are completely separate skills. It's nonsensical to claim that one has anything to do with the other. You meant nothing but offense with your comment.Pro21 said:No offense, but if you can't figure out how to get your hands on a machine I doubt you will have any chance of finding a way to beat it.
We still haven't found a way to beat a roulette wheel yet...Katweezel said:Hey, don't give up guys. These things were invented and built by human minds. Just because it's a tough ask, doesn't mean it's impossible to beat the things.

Is that sarcasm? People have beaten roulette.... legally too.Slick Vic said:We still haven't found a way to beat a roulette wheel yet...
I was talking about mathematically. Yeah, I've heard of stories of teams that found a biased wheel and exploited it. Although I do stand corrected.1357111317 said:Is that sarcasm? People have beaten roulette.... legally too.
Others have beaten roulette purely by predictions based on spin and ball timing. But they were using devices (when it was legal). I suppose it wouldn't be impossible for someone to do it now, but very difficult.Slick Vic said:I was talking about mathematically. Yes it's true, a friend of mine does it,but he is barred in the mostjohndoe said:Others have beaten roulette purely by predictions based on spin and ball timing. But they were using devices (when it was legal). I suppose it wouldn't be impossible for someone to do it now, but very difficult.
Not entirely true - the computer predictive devices exploit a small bias which is found on many/most wheels. zgjohndoe said:Others have beaten roulette purely by predictions based on spin and ball timing.
