I agree with you about the min bet and spread. You helped me awhile back with my game but the casino I go to rarely has the nickel tables. If they do they only keep them at that level for a short while then raise it up to dimes. I love to go vegas because my game works there more times than not. I'm trapped in the area of only one casino two hours away and really an insufficient funds issue. I need to bring a bigger bankroll and quit being so gun shy. I'm really trying to work out alot of issues on funds and ror,but it's still something I enjoy doing as a hobby. blackchipjim

2% ain't bad? Then why is everybody making a big deal about how bad 6:5 single deck blackjack is with its 1.39% house advantage?

Well I just meant there are alot of worse bets around - I didn't mean you have a right to expect to beat the game with an advantage. Yeah, great if you can see one of the dealer's cards or something, but that's not real likely. But, if someone is willing to blow $20 over the next couple hours in exchange for maybe getting lucky and winning and entertainment value, and even maybe camouflaging their advantage play, why not. Let's face it, some people do make -EV wagers while they're in Vegas lol.

Of course, you're right, 2% does keep me far far away!

If you're going to count, I'd feel much better if u wait until your sufficiently funded to be able to spread enuf to beat the game you'll be playing. All a matter of degree of course.
