BiloxiSurveillance has left the forum

Our friend BiloxiSurveillance has decided to leave us. Unfortunately, most of the questions that we asked would involve giving away sensitive information that he is not willing to disclose. I would like to thank him for his openness and his contributions. He asked me to remove the two threads that he started so I’m afraid his advice and responses are gone. I don't know if he plans to continue posting in the future.

We should be aware that other casino employees are often monitoring this website and we should continue to be vigilant about the information that we publicly share.

heed the warning

When I read Sonny's warning I instantly thought about the possibility that B.S. simply has to sign on with a new userID and continue to monitor away, or the possibility that long before signing on as B.S. he was out there monitoring under a different name.

Anyone can read the posts on this website, even without registering a userID. They can view everything we post anonymously without ever signing in if they want.

i personally enjoyed his posts, even if he was a bit arrogant, and his authenticity was in question - it still got me thinking and some pieces of info were garnered.

He really stirred up quite a hornet's nest.

I wasn't sure if it was wise for him to be posting what he was, but then again, it's not like I wasn't gonna read it.

I know I posted this already, but in the future, could we (either the mods or the posters through self-enforcement) try to consolidate all the off-topic flaming into one thread and all the on-topic stories/questions/answers into one thread?

Whether what he has/had to say is true or not, it's just silly to have a question and answer on surveillance techniques interspersed with "you're not really surveillance" and "I figured out who you are and I'm calling the casino" posts.

You know what I think is silly, having a question and answer about surveillance with some kid, who if he really does work in a casino is not all that knowledgable and is sure as hell not running the surveillance team. Trying to learn from someone who knows less than you is bad business. Look man, common sense should tell you that no surveillance supervisor is going to start publicly posting on this board. They might read it, they might post under a false name, they are not here to try to prove who they are to a bunch of counters. Please just think how stupid that sounds. Not only does that defeat the purpose of their job, if found out they could lose it.

Everything that he posted was generic and not any more valuable info than what all of you think about when you think of the eye in the sky's job. Let common sense rule when you see threads started by "casino surveillance personnel." Yeah I gave the kid a hard time and he couldn't handle it. That should speak for his value of someone in charge. I got no beef with the kid, I just hate to see people get sucked into a thread because they want so hard to have confirmed what they already know. Enough public service, I'm gone.

Any Casino Employees Reading

I feel sorry for any casino personel here because they can spend their time in much more enjoyable ways, maybe play with their kids if they have them or go out on a date if single.

They should come away from reading these posts thinking they have nothing to worry about.:joker::whip:

You could not have said it any better. Probally about 80% of the posts on this forum are made up by a couple of posters. How do these people come out of the blue all of a sudden? Notice the better stories are always their 1st post. Good stories to read thats just about it.

Well, those new members posting 1st time stories are here for one reason, to share our experiences with more advanced, experienced, and knowledgable players (Senior and Executive Members) in order to learn and grow.

If it looked like nothing more went on here than the good stories, I'd had left before ever making a single post.

Sure, there's a little condecension and a little bit of an elitist club, esp if you come in too cocky, but if one comes in with a genuine desire to learn, then even stupid questions seem to get a friendly and VERY helpful response!

I'm glad I came across this place (I was reading back posts for wa little while before speaking up) because in a very short time a ton of information has been sponged into my brain.

I hope that experienced APs here understand what a valuable service is being provided, because if they all got fed up with trivial Noob questions and left, then I'd be really sad (not to mention UNINFORMED) as would a large number of others.

So then don't click on the thread. Nobody's holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read what he wrote.

True or not, some people liked his stories; surveillance or not, people asked him questions. If you didn't like his answers, then post a link to the thread flaming him and keep all the off-topic crap quarantined in one area. If nobody's interested in what he has to say on-topic, then the thread dies and he dissolves into the shadows again.

Okay if you want nice stories maybe pick up a Dr. Seuss book or better yet a penthouse forum. Reading cute little bullsh*t stories isn't going to help anybody's game nor help them decipher what real heat is. Its harmful to let misinformation filter into the minds of those who don't know any better. Don't get me wrong I don't really care as much about saving some neophytes game as I do blowing up the BS artist, but it all amounts to the same.

So ghandi kiss the ass of the those who really do no good to the forum to keep the peace if you want, I'd rather tell it like it is. And yes I can choose to ignore it, as well as answer it as I see fit. If you like stories such as his than maybe you should make your own thread for "Things I'd Like Do When I Grow Up". That way everybody can spout all their pretty stories as well as exciting adventures and not have to be taken serious by those who can be hurt by taking this crap serious.
