My phone pukes and I have had zero contact with nobody..I get my new phone going and BJInFo isclosing????
So is ZenZoneForum still open for business? I surely am not going to other BJ sites.
Anybody that needs to reach me......I will be hanging over at ZG's house....

The planning for a new site with a closed section has been in the works for some time now, thanks to the Great, DBJT. Check Midwest Page.

It has been a fun time but I agree, with recent disturbing events, time to shut this baby down.

As AM, and yourself have alluded to, a site dealing with willfull, tough, strong headed AP's needs just such a creature managing it, it is vastly different from the tourney site which will stay open. Nothing against Ken but I do not think he was equipped or prepared psychologically to handle this site when it at times turned into the Wild West, as one should of always expected that it would,,AP world, vs Tourney world, one is tame, one is about as wild and crazy as it can get.

The Midwest Boyz will have a new home, safe, and secure.

I'm deeply saddened and disappointed by the news, but I respect Ken's decision. This site is certainly my most visited and I still hope there is some way to keep it open.

I am lucky to find this site two years ago and have learned a lot from the collective wisdom of all members (of course some members contributed more than others). With the scattered bits of useful information on this site I continue to modify my strategy and the recent result is the best since I started counting.

In case anyone is interested to stay in touch with me, please PM me before the closing.

Ken, I totally understand your rationality here, but you have created something genuine and real in this website, if you shut it down it will be lost forever. I am sure most if not all of the members here would maybe pay for membership, or perhaps there is another way to generate revenue to pay somebody to run the website for you?

Maybe. You could just recruit more long time members like myself and others to deal with the trolling spamming etc so it won't be a headache to you.

Surely you have pride in what you have created in this website, not everybody gets to do something that really does help the world in a way that you have even if the world your helping is a smaller portion of people, all of those people enjoy your website and what you have created.

I'd like to second that, and perhaps offer the suggestion of assessing dues to become a serious member. What would a year's membership run--$25, 50, a hundred or more. Would kill two birds with one stone. Make the site generate revenue and secondly, eliminate all or most of the bozos who have recently degraded the quality of this website.
Show mercy, Ken.without this site how many of us would be forced to spend countless hours of "quality" time with the better half. It's not like there's football to watch every day of the week.Consider also the additional hours of on line porn our brethren would be exposed to. Think of it as a humanitarian gesture.

Closing down the message boards does not destroy their value. The site remains, and the messages will be archived here. In fact, they'll likely be more valuable when the layout is tweaked a bit.
