Pen varies a lot from place to place and as far as I know all games are either 6 deck or 8 deck
Although a few years ago some places had double deck

I moved all 7's to .5 and added in the red 2s. Kept the start point and pivot the same. I use 21 deviations from K3. Then true count the start point as each deck is played out. Very rarely do I play anything below that at any point in the shoe. This requires more units in pocket on any given day, just because average bet is higher round to round, but lowers total bankroll requirement in return. It's a tradeoff I can adjust as needed. Good to go?

... Your instincts are correct vis-a-vis moving to a true counted red7 and counting all sevens at half value, but I think you may have mis-computed your indexes, pivot and IRC.

And I think adding in the red deuces is not right either - one of the reasons that red7 slightly outperforms KO is because it has a lower pivot.

I would like someone else to weigh in on this.

The red deuces are counted in Red7 already. I had K3 on my mind when I wrote that so I was saying I added them to K3 to be more clear about how I adapted 1 count into another, if that makes sense.

The wrong turn you took, was to make your hybrid TR7 comply to your KO indexes, which therefore necessitated the red deuces, but in the process it eroded the single most important distinction between KO and r7, the lower pivot that r7 features. You should drop the red deuce and recalibrate your indices correctly.

I'd say 99%+ of them at $10 or less min players.

Having just returned from Vegas and playing at a variety of places from Strip to off Strip, I would say the only place I saw $10 and under players were the smaller joints downtown, like California. No where else did I see small play because none of the casinos really had those lower limit tables unless they were 6-5. And you KNOW no counter is playing 6-5 tables if he can help it. LOL

I agree.........and games at other locales can have much better playing rules than Vegas but NOT the general tolerance for bets. I thought you were referring to Vegas, however. I just don't believe true counters play at that low a betting level..............though the lower limits at other towns than Vegas, can make larger spreads much easier to maintain or use.
