COBJ question

Hello,
I just bought COBJ and was reading about +4 being the first positive bet for DD. I'm sure this is covered in the book and I just haven't found it yet, but is the author using 0 as the the IRC instead of -4? I had thought for DD we started at -4 and started having an advantage at +1. It seems weird to start the IRC at 0, because then you have to memorize different values for when to take insurance depending on number of decks, right?

Yes, COBJ starts IRC at zero. I gave my book away. He mentioned that at the beginning of book.
