My 2 cents...
Worry more about your wife than what might happen in another, yet-to-be-realized (and at this point imaginary) existence.
Lying to a spouse isn't a good thing, ever.
I'm totally honest with my husband, but he doesn't want to know the details. I tell him about where I'm at win/loss wise and he knows I haven't dipped into any of our money for a couple years now - I'm just playing on winnings. I figure as long as I keep it that way, we won't have any issues. It helped that the first time I won several hundred dollars, I gave him half. I won't make that mistake again! It disappeared as fast as he says I make HIS money disappear! :eyepatch:
P.S. I was raised in a religion that frowns on ANY card playing, including in the privacy of your home and including card games that don't include betting. For some reason, games like "Authors" and "Uno" were okay - I find this confusing.
