Sir, I have no idea how long you've been playing, but Mr. Renzi is absolutely right. Any card taken in the right or wrong situation has no effect on what you do with the cards you are dealt. You need the knowledge of every situation and always act on it correctly, and no ones mistakes will cause you to lose money. I'll give you a pointer, never take insurance on a dealer's ace or a hot womann. You'll never see it coming and when you do, the money is already gone.

It has nothing to do with the long run. It refers to the hand being played. If you have 20 and third base has, 15 with the dealer showing a 6. What would you tell third base to do, so that you can win the hand. Let's say you know the next three cards are 10,5,10. Since you don't know if the dealer has a 10 or 5 in the hole, your chances of winning the hand are only 50%, before third base makes his decision. That means you have one chance to win and one chance to lose that hand (not the long run)

I agree with what you are saying about not knowing if the player will help or hurt you until you see the card that he draws.Thats not the point I was trying to make.
Either I'm not getting my point across,or you are misunderstanding it. Either way,its making more of it than I planned on.
