Sir, I have no idea how long you've been playing, but Mr. Renzi is absolutely right. Any card taken in the right or wrong situation has no effect on what you do with the cards you are dealt. You need the knowledge of every situation and always act on it correctly, and no ones mistakes will cause you to lose money. I'll give you a pointer, never take insurance on a dealer's ace or a hot womann. You'll never see it coming and when you do, the money is already gone.
