What people fail to advise the OP is yes play unrated to not burn your name for small stakes, but don't fall into the trap of handing over your ID when they hassle you for it saying they need to check your age because if you do so, playing unrated was useless. Don't let them scare you into giving your id, it's one huge bluff. You'll know when it's heat and not an honest request to ask for id. If they ask for ID in a pleasant way as soon as you join the table, it's likely to ask for age, unless the pit comes from out of no where as soon as you jump into the table after backcounting. If a suit comes from the floor and stops you for id, that's obvious heat and do not be threatened to give ID.
