Yes you could argue that. Of course you could also argue that catching the flu would be beneficial to the BS player by keeping him from the table.:)

Incidentally, it's not well known; but it matters little where the cut card is placed, early or late in the shoe. Most any placement of the cut card has about the same effect. OTOH, the effect of the cut card is increased when the number of players is increased.
There is one placement of the cut card that absolutely has zero effect. If it is guranteed that it will come out somewhere in the first round then full shoe EVs most definitely apply.

Ahh - a hand-dealt CSM machine lmao. Would it be avoided by all with the same zeal as CSM's? Even if ASM machines were at the table. :)

Kinda seems like a non sequitur, doesn't it? On the one hand you want the cut card as far from the first round as possible for more pen/advantage, but moving it outside the first round could bring with it the dreaded cut card effect.

Well, without an ASM machine, cagey BS ploppy that I am, I would take the extra time of watching the dealer shuffle 6 decks every minute compared to CSM lol.

Card-counting kind of minimizes this effect doesn't it? To what extent, I have no idea.

Who would you rather be, with 2 players, one BS, one CC, same roll, say 6D, when the cut-card would always guarantee 2 rounds being played but the BS player would only always play one but the CC would always play 2 at some spread huge enough to create a +EV game if that would even be possible

No I don't expect an answer lmao. Just silly stuff :)
