That stinks...you might as well have ordered a few sticks since the corners do get worn down. Nonetheless, having the real deals does help.

good luck practicing!

First of all I set the dice and control shoot. I do my best when the tables are empty and can get into my rythm ( 2-3 players max). I can set the dice so damn fast that I never get heat about setting them. You absolutely have to know where all the number are on the dice when the stickman sends them to you. Example the 4 is opposite of the 3, the 2 is opposite of the 5. Once you get this down you will receive less heat heat about setting the dice.

As far as does it work...well it doen't work all the time thats for sure, but if you can keep them on axiss one out of 3 shakes well then you have the odds in your favor. Chefjj can give you alot of info on this subject. I've played within the last 3 months at the Bellagio with the Dominator and Frank Sclobete if you're familiar with them, and even those guys crap out in 2-3 shakes alot. I myself disagree with the hardway set, even if you keep them on axis you still have a 1 in 6 shot of a 7. The set that I use mostly is 1 in 14 if you keep them on axis. Get some dice study them and forget about that hardway set.

Good luck.

Crapped out----meaning they 7'd out. Also, I am not part of their crew/organization. They had their whole crew there in November for a seminar in which they charge people money to teach them how to control shoot. Some of their instructors were shoooting and I specifically remember one of them had the dice 3 times, the man 7'd out the first roll every time. Did Dom and Frank make money? I'm not sure but if they did it wasn't much. Dom had maybe 3K in his rack, Frank a little less, they were not betting huge either.

Are you based in AU? are you fricken seriouse melbourne crown doesnt let you set the dice? because thats the casino i go to, which room was this in? did you try it in the mahogony room? or any other VIP rooms? or was it at the normal floors? how long ago was this? o man
I didn't wanna prick your balloon mate; matter of fact I can't even recall if it was Crown 100% as it was in the later 90s and my memory has blurred into one big casino, especially for things other than Blackjack. I used to hang out in the Mahogany room and I never saw a craps table up there. I did see one down on the main floor several times but. Try setting the dice and see if some pc moans about it! Good luck mate. I hang out mainly at Jupiters and Brisbane these days. Sydney was too paranoid about AP play in the past. Now they have a new boss from the Bellagio, AC. I hope he might loosen things up a bit.
