Do ASM's effect bias

I geuss I was kicking around the bias question in bj shoes. Has anyone know or has read about the asm affectting the distribution of cards. I haven't played against shoes that are in asms until recently. Just as a casual observation I noticed that slugs don't always get shuffled out. Comments or oppinions on this are welcome. blackchipjim

Slugs don't get shuffled out you say? I always assumed they were shuffled well and never paid attention against ASMs. Plus you have to play a whole different shoe before you get back to the original cards.

But those machines are mysterious..
