It doesn't matter if you are in Vegas or anywhere else. Just find the charts for the specific game/rules you are playing. This site is a good source. I have had dealers tell me "never split 4's." They also give me a funny look when I hit a soft 18 or double down A7 vs 3. Many dealers do not know basic strategy. Learn your game an play it right!
