gonna maybe probably play double deck for first time ever. maybe. lol.
might not even spread at all. maybe i will. just get my feet wet with this cards face down and stuff. it's crap penetration anyway. just wanna try it.
i do know the proper basic strategy for this dd game.
so but i know illustrious 18 and use it for six and eight deckers.
so but as i remmember your supposed to be able to use it for double deck as well. is that correct?

The indices should be OK, just make sure you have the correct BS chart for the DD, i.e. H/S17,DAS v. nDAS, LS or nLS etc. There are a few curve balls, but not many. You should at least spread 4:1 to at least break even. Go give 'em hell!! Ribbit

Theres nothing intimidating about DD. When I play DD/SD, I actually do my TC differently opposed to MD.

For Example, for the first 1/2 deck, the TC is = 1/2 the RC(+7=+4)

Then when theres a 1/2 Deck to a Full Deck, in the Discard tray, I take 3/4 of the RC(+12=+9)

1 Deck in the Discard/ RC=TC

1/1/4 Deck(TC will always exceed RC)x1.5(+12=+18)

1/1/2 Decks in Discard tray/= Simply Double the RC.

Im actually a little more technical, than this, but i think you get the point. Good luck.

Double 11 For DD

Learning a few more indices "catch 22" would not be the worse thing. I would not be to concerned. The Ill. 18 will serve you well. The catch 22 can also add a little more to multi deck play.
