Just after July 4th, a memo came down from the top to anyone having anything to do with blackjack. It stated that only one deck will be cut from all BJ games including the 6 decks.

I went to Foxwoods this morning and did the leg work that I felt was needed to provide the most accurate and up to date conditions. I observed about 2 dozen of the 8 deck shoes between the Rainmaker, Pequot and MGM Grand Casinos. I saw only a few cuts at 1 deck, the rest were less with some approaching a half deck.

Hey PMP --- Thanks again for the detailed report on FW. Sounds like we got some descent pen... Just have to avoid the increased sweat and experienced PC's. :whip:

Also, does anyone know if FW have any New Member "Sign-up Bonus" to their slot club? Perhaps, they match your Higher-Tiered Card such as a Black Card from Borgata or a Diamond from Caesars...

Funny story- I heard a criminal dealer in Reno (Cal-Neva, of course) convince a table that he has an option of hitting or standing on soft 17, depending on how many players he has beat.

If I have a stiff when the dealer's showing a 6 and he has an ace in the hole, could I ask him to hit soft 17 hoping he would bust?
