but I think I heard of one guy who managed to scam one daily.
But it's not like it's a promo that going to cause it's own trip to Vegas.
I don't know what restrictions there are either, apparently maybe only having a player's card?

It's so good, potentially anyway or so it seems, although maybe on the grey line of legality, perhaps like the guy who could scam one a day, wonder just how he might have done that, it might even be a reason to move to Vegas let alone make a trip lol.

To cardcounter - I'm assuming that it is only the BJ pay-out of winnings that is matched up to the first $25 of that 3-2 payout. So, in theory, a $17 bet would get $25 of the $25.50 win matched.

I've always thought the Stratosphere had very good promo deals perhaps trying to make up for the difficulty of getting people to wander that far down the strip. Better rules too last time I was there, I think.

But, you know, if they won't pay a winning ticket past the expiration date, I doubt if I'll go there again. Anybody know how long this promo has been offered by any chance - wondering if they may be hurting a little from the bad publicity?

I remember the Strat as having a pretty good funbook, with multiple coupons. I don't know the rules with the funbook, there are probably some restrictions on who can get it (hotel guest, new players card signups, whatever), but I think I heard of one guy who managed to scam one daily.

But it's not like it's a promo that going to cause it's own trip to Vegas.

The strat was also the only place in Vegas so far where another counter stumbled on my table. Awkward!
I don't think anyone is making a living on these promotional giveaways. lol When that happens, I'll be first in line.

The Strat has had either this or a similar promo going for years.I believe it is one coupon book a week.
I don't think anyone could make a normal living hustling these promos, but it could be a decent part-time job,or a nice bonus for a retiree.

just fyi this bj pays 3-1 bonus (up to $25) is still ongoing. you can get one every 7 days with a players card. or you could hustle them and ask random ppl around the strat for the coupon. there are plenty of people who use the the book for craps or poker or even just food would be glad to give you their blackjack coupon. i recently played there and averaged playing 2 of these a day on different shifts. there was a day or two when i had enough to play one on each of the three shifts...

the coupon is handed over after the fact, you do not have to play it before the hand. and yes, the $25 limit is on the blackjack payout, not the initial bet. so the $16-17 bet would be your "optimal" bet. if you are counting, you're not flat betting anyway, but an extra $25 bucks on a blackjack is always a nice boost.
