DD looks good, especially with decent pen. Most places I play do not have surrender. I agree with Coyote on the 6-deck game.

75% I think...but I mostly play 6 deck. I'm one that feels DD is there to catch APs.

Those are pretty good rules. I would go with 65% or better.

extant. It sold at a very high price. IMHO, It was virtually "priceless"

An updated version [suitable for today's games] would be a great thing.

Unfortunately the data offered at the url given is stripped of formatting.

It is best viewed as a simple matrix, Take ruler and pencil to hand. Draw them.

While a simple spread-sheet would be easier, but the process of creating the matrices

"from scratch" enhances the learning process.

to jaygruden- I like it as a good guide. Most places I play at have DD and 6D games. If they are very close house advantage-wise then it'll steer me to the more playable game. Or not even bother to play at that time. The guide shows how very important penetration is and the number of other players- we've all been at a table when the shoe is rich, our bets increase, and it seems like everyone else is getting the good cards 'cept us :-( I avoid games where the table is full (a problem a red chipper like me faces constantly). So I try to play on weekdays and during times that traditionally are not busy. Of course with shoe games sitting at table alone or say with one other player doesn't mean it'll stay that way; many times I've had this occur and within the next couple of minutes the table fills up.
