GoldenPalace.com

If anyone has any advice to get around this problem, let me know. Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about:

I have tried re-installing and removing again, but no luck.

As for uninstalling maybe you have to go right in the c drive and delete the golden palace folders/files. Perhaps download the anti-spyware programs Ken was talking about and run them on your computer.

Nobody has mentioned what the security documents are that you have to send them, does someone know?? And do you have to meet the WR and have the withdraw processsed with 14days? Sounds like just the withdrawal process takes a few days.

I just read this in the T&Cs for golden palace:

The sign-up bonus is intended for use on ONE casino only. It is not permitted to claim the sign-up bonus on more than one casino belonging to our family of casino sites.

I wonder if this means you can only play at one of the six casinos now?

The security docs. that they mention are, a picture ID, the top of a utility bill and the top of a bank statement that show your name and address. Be sure that when you fill in your info when you first join to use the same address thats on your drivers lic, utility bill and bank statement. I used my business P.O. box when I joined and they are giving me a hassle because its different than my drivers lic, utility bill and bank statement. Still working on getting it resolved. what a pain.

I am worried because I don't have a utility bill. I live with my father and the utility bills are in his name. I do have a driver's license and bank statement though. I call them and see what they say.

I just called them and they said I could send it in and write an explanation as to why the first name's are different.

They said all they need to do is prove you live at the address you say you live at and that you are of the legal age, not sure why they need so many pieces of ID though. I remember when I first signed up at InterCasino my address there and on Neteller was different and that created a huge hassel. I was told all sorts of different things by different people and then finally was simply told to create a new account with my neteller address and then they'll transfer the money from the old account into that one. Hopefully your solution is as simple as that one.

I still think it's odd that they don't need any of these documents when you create an account and wager and lose.
It only becomes an issue if you win.
"Hey, if you lose, no problem. But if you win, well then whoa ... we gotta make sure you're old enough to be gambling".
That's pretty underhanded in my book.

Yeah, I've always wondered about this security document stuff for the same reason. Seems like they should want all this stuff before you deposit, not before you withdraw. But of course, the reality is that these policies are all about the money.

I've sent security documents to many different casinos. It's unfortunately not an unusual policy online.

wow ----- I lost this thread for a week or so and I have to go into my user cp and set up my email subscriptions.... Thanks for all the responces.... Very informative stuff on this topic....

To answer this below question:

Are you new to promoting online casinos? If you are i could probably help you out a bit.
Yes, I am very new to promoting online casino's, but not new at all to promoting online.... I do allot of seo and have done so for years.... This is the first time I am starting to promote a casino.... I know, or at least suspect that it is very much different than promoting a traditional business site via search engines and am preparing for a difficult task.

I have chosen Golden Palace Casino mostly because of their well known brand name even to those who aren't big in online gambling. I did have the pleasure of meeting an affiliate rep at one of the search engine strategies events in New York and he seemed like a nice guy so I got involved....

Many people have told me that black-hat search engine tactics are the way to go when promoting an online casino, but I am going to enjoy the chalenge... I'm going white-hat all the way....

Only thing I do not really feel comfortable with as of yet is the fact that I am getting a decent amount of downloads but no depositing players as of yet.... I will feel much more comfortable when I see a deposit in my stats.....

blackhat v white hat

I tend to think that white hat is the way to go. Of course if you want to get to the top fast then black hat is the way to go, but I am of the premise that if you make a decent site with decent content people will want to visit your site and more importantly return. I hate being at the mercy of major SE anyhow and like to build in offline and online promotion for my site, i fully believe that if you are ethical you will be rewarded. I'd be intereste in Ken's views on this as he has the top spot for the word "blackjack" maybe its just a coincidence that he has one of the most informative and helpful sites with regards to blackjack???!!!! ;) ;)

I absolutely agree. White hat all the way. I look at it this way... The search engines want to deliver results that include the most useful and relevant sites on the Internet. While black hat spammers might be successful in the short-term, I'm counting on the really smart guys at companies like Google and Yahoo to come up with better and better ways of delivering the results that they and their users want.

Anyone considering the alternative route should instead spend all that time it would take to figure out black hat techniques to develop good and useful content for their visitors. Over the next few years, that angle will pay dividends again and again.

I will tell you what Google is doing.....

Measuring how long visitors stay online.

That is very important for particularly Google to find out and they have a few ways to do this....

I suspect that Google will be measuring this and mixing it into their algorithm and I really believe that they are already doing this.... I feel very confident that this is the entire reason for Google Analytics. They want to know how good your site is by measuring click path and visit duration.

My Golden Palace Experience

i have just began the bonus hunting business, and golden palace was the 3rd one i played, after bet365 and casino elegance. i knew that it was important to go over the t & c's very carefully, and i thought i did this however with casino elegance i still managed to make the mistake of thinking it was a normal bonus when it turned out to be a sticky bonus. When i came to golden palace i read some of this thread (not all unfortunately), where everyone was saying that it was a sticky bonus, after i'd already read the t & c's and thought that it wasn't, so i thought that i'd probably made the same mistake as with casino elegance, so i decided to play it as a sticky bonus.

i deposited 100, got the 300% "sticky" for a total of 400, and began betting 100 bucks a hand and hit a bj on the first one, and then some more wins and quickly made it up to about $850. then i started grinding it out to complete the WR, (making $5 bets). sometime after that i happened to read the rest of this thread and learnt that i was correct to begin with, it ISN'T a sticky bonus, which was GREAT! i ended up finishing the WR at $950, a profit of $850!!! and requested a cashout.

they sent me an email telling me to send the security documents... drivers licence, bank statement and utitlity bill via fax or email. i live at home so i don't have any utility bills with my name on it, so i emailed support asking what i should do, and they said i should simply send some other 'official statement' that has my name and address on it, i ended up sending the top of some letter from uni (along with drivers licence and top of bank statement). the cashout took just under 3 days to process and they sent emails throughout that period to keep me updated on the progress.

all in all i got a bit lucky, but it has given my bankroll a nice boost

You can only sign up for 3-4 out of those 6 casinos before they put a hold on any new accounts. It's a shame.
i played the bonus at Golden Palace and cashed out all good, then tried to do the same for online casino (in the same group) and they allowed me to create an account and deposit, but when i emailed to get the bonus they said i couldn't claim it because i had already at Golden Palace. This is annoying because now i have to go through the whole song and dance of sending my 'security documents' to get my deposit back.

also i'm pretty sure there are more than 6 in the group, aren't these them all: Golden palace, online casino, grand online casino, flamingo club, 24kt gold casino, aspinfalls, triple win, topcard, sixshooter, grand Riviera, online vegas, merlin’s magic and go casino

i thought ppl might want a heads up

cheers

No you don't have to send in the documents again. Just call them and tell them that you sent them in when you withdrew from Golden Palace. I withdrew from like 3 of their casinos and only sent in the documents once. However two of those time I withdrew my initial bonus after being caught just like you.

Yeah, they are getting better about catching people. I only got to do two of them before I was caught.
